The small bay of Toulon may be seen as a contaminated area due to its appeal to tourists and the significant marine activity it witnesses. Zooplankton and phisico-chemical studies  provide insights into pollution and eutrophication levels.

Lake preservation requires optimal ecological conditions to ensure low eutrophication levels and durable stability. In the context of the la Verne water dam study, biotic and abiotic data enabled us to determine the oligotrophic state of the lake.

Sprintail, urbanization and fragmentation

Gherissi, Ait Omar, Dallen & Baccouche 

Land artificialization induced by urbanization can affect metazoa populations and by extent geochemical cycles.  This study, conducted in the Lyon 1 University green spaces, focus on the abondance and diversity of springtails and how it impacts litter fragmentation.
